HIMSS Annual Call for Committee Applications opens January 2, 2012 through March 2, 2012.
Purpose:
HIMSS leadership believes that healthcare information technology and management systems can increase the effectiveness, safety and quality of patient care. This vision leads directly to the need for electronic health records and clinical information systems throughout the nation's healthcare enterprises. The committee helps HIMSS establish its strategic direction and official positions on issues relating to enterprise IS.
