HIMSS and CHEST Join Forces at CHEST 2009
The American College of Chest Physicians and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society have joined forces once again to bring the interactive HIMSS HIT Showcase to CHEST 2009, the annual conference of the American College of Chest Physicians, scheduled for Oct. 31-Nov. 5 in San Diego, Calif. More than 4,500 practicing pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine specialists are expected to attend the conference celebrating ACCP’s 75th anniversary.
HIMSS is committed to advancing the implementation of health IT and EHR nationwide. That’s why ACCP and HIMSS are excited to announce the Health IT Showcase at CHEST 2009. More than 500 expert speakers from around the world will provide essential updates on patient care and practice management strategiesa at the event.
