Our founding philosophy is to actively participate in safeguarding public health by increasing trust in Life Sciences and Health Care Information Technology (IT). Through the development of best practice guidelines, Good Informatics Practices (GIP) will assist organizations and regulatory bodies to adhere to a common risk based IT framework.
The Committee that is driving the GIP initiative is the HIMSS LSIT (Life Science Information Technology) Committee who will address rigorous and encompassing quality systems for GIP Guidance.
