Quality, Cost and Safety Committee

HIMSS Annual Call for Committee Applications opens January 2, 2012 through March 2, 2012.

Purpose:
The use of healthcare information and management systems, standards and interoperability are essential to patient safety. The HIMSS Quality, Cost Safety Committee guides HIMSS efforts for this initiative. The Committee provides direction concerning all HIMSS projects, policies and other matters related to the application of health information technology toward improving the safety, quality and cost-effectiveness of health and healthcare.
