Health Informatics Training System (HITS) is a self-directed online course designed specifically for professionals new to the healthcare IT field, or for experienced healthcare staff who have limited experience with computers and technology. The program provides healthcare professionals a basic understanding of the important relationship and overlap between healthcare and technology while highlighting administrative and clinical best practices in health information technology and informatics. HITS education will equip learners with the confidence and understanding needed to excel in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
