CEO IT Achievement Award

The annual CEO IT Achievement Award recognizes one or more healthcare industry chief executive officers who demonstrate leadership and commitment to using information technology to advance their healthcare organization's strategic goals.

Eligibility Criteria
Open to CEOs of any type of healthcare organization. The award is not open to vendors or consultants that sell IT goods or services to healthcare provider organizations.

Nomination Process
Submissions must be made by the nominated CEO's organization and submitted electronically.
The 2010 nominations were open from January 11th until March 19, 2010.

Timetable
The recipient(s) of the 2010 CEO IT Achievement Award will be announced and profiled in a special supplement of Modern Healthcare magazine. The recipient(s) will be honored as the
HIMSS Government Health IT Conference & Exhibition June 14-15, 2010.
