HIMSS Service Awards

Chapter Leader of the Year Award
The Chapter Leader of the Year Award recognizes an individual who demonstrates significant leadership, extraordinary contributions to HIMSS Chapters, the society and a commitment to the HIT industry.

Distinguished Fellows Service Award
The Distinguished Fellows Service Award is presented to a Fellow HIMSS member who, in the judgment of the HIMSS Fellows, has made significant, commendable and long-standing contributions to the Society.

The Evelyn Award
The Evelyn Award is awarded to an individual has demonstrated significant leadership and passion in the area of medical banking or the convergence of the healthcare information and financial technology fields, and outstanding service for HIMSS' cause of harnessing the power of IT to transform healthcare financial transactions.

John A. Page Outstanding Service Award
The John A. Page Outstanding Service Award is presented to an individual (s) who, in the judgment of the HIMSS Board of Directors, has made significant, commendable and long-standing contributions to the Society.

Founders Leadership Award
The Founders Leadership Award is presented to one or more individuals who, in the judgment of the HIMSS Board of Directors, have demonstrated significant leadership within the Society and/or the industry.

Outstanding SIG Member Award
The Outstanding SIG Member Award is presented to a member(s) who has made significant, commendable contributions to a Special Interest Group.

Spirit of HIMSS Award
The Spirit of HIMSS award recognizes members who truly exemplify the spirit of HIMSS through their recent significant volunteer efforts within the society. The award is given to a member every month.
