Vice President, Operations

Erica L. Pantuso is Vice President, Operations for HIMSS North America, a global, cause-based, not-for-profit organization focused on better health through information and technology.

At HIMSS North America, Pantuso manages integrated marketing and communications, strategic relations, member relations, and annual planning for the business unit. In this role, she interacts with all content areas and leadership within HIMSS North America; her team of 32 manages components of the HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition, individual and corporate membership, chapters, and the expanding area of strategic relationships with affiliated organizations.

Pantuso joined HIMSS in 1999 as membership coordinator. She advanced to manage member recruitment and retention for the newly formed business development area. Recognized for her leadership and business acumen, she advanced in 2004 to director of member services and to vice president in 2008. As vice president, regional affairs, Pantuso managed stage government, health information exchange and strategic partnerships. She advanced to vice president, operations, in 2013.

Before joining HIMSS, Pantuso worked for five years as chapter liaison for the Women’s Council of Realtors, a division on the National Realtor Association, which has more than 200 U.S. chapters representing more than 12,000 members.

Pantuso earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and Association Forum of Chicagoland, as well as a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
