The United States Healthcare Information Knowledgebase (USHIK), operated by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), was updated last week to include 2014 clinical quality measures (CQMs) and value sets. The new data can be found on the Meaningful Use Portal Page, and adds to the “one-stop shop” value of the knowledgebase.

On May 15, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a Funding Opportunity Announcement for round two of the Health Care Innovation Awards. The CMS Innovation Center plans to spend up to $1 billion for awards and evaluation of projects from across the country that test new payment and service delivery models that will deliver better care and lower costs for Medicare, Medicaid, and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) enrollees.
