The purpose of this position is to support the sales team in generating and achieving revenue objectives for specific products, programs, and services. The Sales Development Representative is HIMSS Analytics’ initial contact with new prospects. He or she is responsible for contacting prospective customers, generating leads, qualifying incoming leads, and setting up sales meetings for sales staff. The incumbent is responsible for promoting all HIMSS Analytics products and services in accordance with approved sales policies and programs and representing HIMSS Analytics in accordance with its policies. He or she initiates contact with new prospects calling on them in a regular and consistent manner. He or she is also responsible for scheduling demos.
