Position Purpose

As our Sr. Project Manager, Marketing Solutions, you will manage and oversee all project management for client-based marketing solution programs; digital development products within the HIMSSAC product suite; and new product launches being managed by marketing solutions for the company. This position requires client management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will assist the VP in maintaining client relationships, developing and implementing new processes, solutions and services for clients. You should have a creative flair, attention to detail, process-oriented and experience bringing digital products to life while troubleshooting technical issues.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Provide top-level Project services for HIMSS Media key accounts
  • Assists in the launch of HIMSS Media Lab microsite.
  • Assists in developing proposals and presentations for marketing solutions for clients
  • Project management of client-based marketing solutions for projects which includes:
  • Content development (e.g. white papers, case studies, eBooks)
  • Bright Sites, or any other custom products, services (content audits, gap analysis, etc.)
  • Design services: work with graphic designers to ensure clients specifications are met
  • Writing services: define client requirements through collaboration
  • Managing freelancers
  • Manage and develop key digital products and services for HIMSS such as Women in HIT and Destination HIMSS
  • Support the VP of Marketing Solutions, assisting in management of all pricing of products and services, additional SOW costs, etc. to deliver 50% profitability or better.
  • Maintain Google tracking sheet of custom content projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful, related and progressive experience in Marketing, client management and project management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and integrity with the ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Experience with Information Systems and technology
  • Experience in a professional society, trade association or media
  • Technical skills: Internet, MS Office (Outlook, PPT, Word, Excel), Google Docs, Dropbox, Sharepoint, CMS
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in marketing with exposure to advertising campaigns
  • Expertise using Adobe design products including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Prior experience in tracking campaign metrics – i.e. open rates, click-thru rates, etc.
