HIT Educational Program
HIMSS is a co-sponsor of the Capitol Hill “Steering Committee on Telehealth and Healthcare Informatics.” Now in its 15th year, the Steering Committee will convene a new series of educational sessions, technology demonstrations and field visits during 2008. Building on in-depth program content of more than 110 past programs, the agenda continues to focus on working with a wide variety of groups (academia, government, and the private sector) to help develop legislative priorities and awareness related to Telehealth, eHealth and health care informatics. A complimentary lunch is available at all scheduled sessions.
