Key leaders in the United States House of Representatives decided in 2004 to launch a bipartisan organization of House Members who seek to expand the use of information and information technology to drive measurable improvements in the quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare. The Caucus is co-chaired by Rep. Tim Murphy (R-PA) and Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI). Each month, the caucus sponsors an electronic newsletter for members and their staff on current topics of interest.
