HIMSS has partnered with the Oregon Health & Science University to offer members a certificate program in healthcare information technology and a graduate certificate program in biomedical informatics at a discounted fee. HIMSS members are eligible to receive a 5% discount on tuition for both these programs.
OHSU’s Graduate Certificate Program in Biomedical Informatics is a graduate level course of study that provides knowledge and skills in the application of information technology to healthcare. In the program, individuals take courses in medical informatics, management and related areas to gain expertise to assume positions that require a thorough understanding of both IT and the healthcare environment.
