Purpose
Advisory Committee members will provide program oversight, make recommendations on future direction and scope, set priorities, determine program policy, serve as champions for the program, and contribute thought leadership. The Advisory Committee will ensure credibility of the program to clinicians, healthcare provider and vendor organizations, health information exchanges, health information services providers, and the broader health IT industry, bringing greater value to both industry and the Society.

Currently Associate Medical Director for Informatics at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Hale has over 20 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine as well as clinical application of medical informatics. She is board certified in Internal medicine and board certified in Clinical Informatics as a subspecialty. She has lead EMR implementation projects in the ambulatory and inpatient setting including e-prescribing, clinical record exchange, inpatient physician order entry and clinical decision support.

Robert Cothren represents California stakeholders in advancing safe and secure health information exchange across the US and throughout California, by creating a framework for trusted exchange based on consensus policies and national standards in California, and by advancing the state of the art in health information access nationwide. He has been involved as a Health technology professional for over 20 years in creating solutions to clinical and public health problems. He is an accomplished speaker with over 100 publications.
