Currently Associate Medical Director for Informatics at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Hale has over 20 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine as well as clinical application of medical informatics.  She is board certified in Internal medicine and board certified in Clinical Informatics as a subspecialty. She has lead EMR implementation projects in the ambulatory and inpatient setting including e-prescribing, clinical record exchange, inpatient physician order entry and clinical decision support.

Robert Cothren represents California stakeholders in advancing safe and secure health information exchange across the US and throughout California, by creating a framework for trusted exchange based on consensus policies and national standards in California, and by advancing the state of the art in health information access nationwide. He has been involved as a Health technology professional for over 20 years in creating solutions to clinical and public health problems. He is an accomplished speaker with over 100 publications.

Brian Ahier is a national expert on health information technology with a focus on health data exchange. Brian is Director of Standards and Government Affairs at Medicity and also serves on the Interoperability & HIE Workgroup of the HIT Policy Committee.

Decisive, action-oriented and results focused professional offering 14 years of experience within Healthcare IT with the last 10 years focused on Interoperability and Standards. Offers outstanding talents in resource management, team building, team consensus, budget management, developing project scopes, customer relationships, cost avoidance, and continuous strategic and tactical improvement. Bill Howard is currently working in the area of Population Health, leveraging HIE capabilities for push, pull and alerts of patient data.  Bill has been working with IHE Standards-based interoperability for ~10yrs (since 2005), after ~5yrs with EDI (HIPAA X12 transactions) and ~5yrs with lab instrument interoperability (plug & play ASTM standards).

My focus is on improving healthcare delivery through secure, interoperable health information technology systems. I manage the healthcare vertical at ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon. I have developed and launched testing and certification programs that support the nation's healthcare providers, hospitals, health IT vendors and system developers in meeting regulatory requirements efficiently and effectively, while continuing to drive the innovation necessary to transform our healthcare system for the better.

Interests include: Health IT, Telemedicine, Distance Learning, Network management, Policy and Project development in areas of Rural Economic Development, Technology applications for rural and underserved Urban areas, Video production, Permaculture and Ag. Technology.
