The Annual Call for Committee Volunteers is open from January 18 to March 14, 2016. Service on a HIMSS North America Committee, focused on specific constituencies and key industry topics within health IT, is an excellent opportunity for professional development, networking and active engagement.

To be eligible to serve as a committee member, an applicant must have belonged to HIMSS for more than the past 12 consecutive months from the date nominations open. Applicants cannot be currently serving in a leadership position (ex: Committee Chair or HNA Board of Directors), nor hold a current committee appointment within the Society. Ineligible member types: Chapter only and Online only.
To check your membership status and history, log in to your account at www.himss.org and your member-since date will be shown in the Member Summary section of the Dashboard tab.
All volunteers must be HIMSS members. However, the membership length requirement is only for committee members. All members are eligible to participate in workgroups, taskforces, roundtables and communities.
