We are a community of professional HIMSS members who are also Federal Government employees, coming together for cross-agency information sharing and networking. We share new ideas on how health IT can be used to improve healthcare delivery by the federal government.  We also provide leadership, guidance and domain expertise to HIMSS activities and industry initiatives.

We host monthly teleconference meetings to receive updates from our federal colleagues focused on health IT initiatives impacting federal stakeholders.

At HIMSS Annual Conference and Exhibition, we sponsor three Federal Health Community Synergy Sessions, three back to back educational sessions impacting federal health IT stakeholders.

Our community also hosts invitation networking events at HIMSS Annual Conference and the Annual Government Health IT Conference in Washington DC.
