Preconference Call for Proposals - HIMSS Annual Conference

The Preconference Call for Proposals is now closed. Late proposals are not accepted.

Please note: The Call for Symposia is for full-day, 7-8-hour program submission proposals not individual 60-minute sessions.

The search is on!

HIMSS is searching for full day, 7 to 8-hour program submissions to include in the preconference education programming to take place at HIMSS17 in Orlando, Florida. Pre-conference symposia are educational programs that include an overall theme with related education.

Submitting a proposal for preconference symposia means you will submit an abstract for a full-day (7 to 8 hour) program, not an individual (60-minute) session. If your proposal is selected, you will work with HIMSS Staff and volunteers to finalize your symposium. This process includes weekly planning calls to further develop session topics within the symposium and to identify and invite speakers.
