The HIMSS Foundation annually awards scholarships to HIMSS student members who have achieved academic excellence and have the potential to be future leaders in the healthcare information and management systems industry.

Ten scholarships will be awarded this year to the student(s) deemed most deserving as determined by the HIMSS Foundation Scholarship Review Board.

The 2012 Call for Applications for HIMSS scholarships has closed, and submissions are in review. Winners will be announced on December 17, 2012.
