HIMSS offers complimentary registration options for conference attendees who:
- have a buying plan for an electronic medical record system but
- have not contracted with a products and services provider, and
- commit to attending at least one products and services provider sessions during the day
Review the options below to select your registration preference. At the conference, attend the products and services provider sessions that best fit your purchasing strategies. Your interest in and commitment to attend these sessions, per the registration categories below, gives products and services providers an idea of how many attendees to plan for during their presentations.
- Complimentary registration: Attendee selects from the products and services provider sessions during the day and attends at least one of these sessions during the conference.
- Complimentary registration plus a $150 stipend: Attendee selects from the product and services provider sessions during the day and attends at least four of these sessions during the conference. One stipend is available per organization.
- Complimentary registration for colleagues from the same workplace: Attendees select from the products and services provider sessions during the day; each attendee goes to at least one of these sessions during the conference. On the registration page, enter the name and title of each colleague who will be attending the conference with you.
Badges Can Be Picked Up Onsite at Intercontinental Chicago O'Hare. Registration will open at 7:30am Friday, January 15, 2010.
Registration Confirmation
You will receive a formal conference registration confirmation within 5-10 business days after the receipt of your registration if your registration.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
- All registrations are non refundable.
- Registrants unable to attend may send a substitute. If the substitute is not a member, the non-member fee will be required. Substitutions must be made in writing to jpayton@himss.org
- HIMSS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs and to close registration when programs are sold out. For these reasons, registrants are advised against purchasing non-refundable airline tickets.
- Should the HIMSS conference be cancelled, your registration fee will not be refunded but will automatically be applied to the next Takin' HIT to the Streets-events
Other Policies
- I agree not to copy or permit to be copied, in any form or format, without the express written permission of HIMSS, any of the contents of the Takin' HIT to the Street- An Arra Era attendee roster. I also agree not to use the roster contents for any commercial, marketing, promotional, or political purposes. No solicitation is permitted by anyone except by exhibitors within the confinement of their booth.
- By registering for the conference you are providing permission to receive emails, mailings and faxes related to the conference. If you wish to opt out of receiving any of these materials you may do so by emailing the HIMSS office at meetings@himss.org.
- For security reasons, badge swapping is not permitted. Anyone found wearing a badge that does not match his/her identification will be evicted from the conference without a refund. In addition, the badge/name will be cancelled without a refund.
- By registering, I agree to all the terms and conditions set forth above including the use of photographic images. Noncompliance will result in registration cancellation without refund.
