2017 HIMSS Congressional Asks

Each year, the HIMSS Public Policy Committee, in collaboration with HIMSS volunteers and subject matter experts, develop the organization’s priority policy recommendations to Congress. The Congressional Asks are reviewed by the full HIMSS membership and approved by the HIMSS North America Board of Directors.

For 2017-2018, the HIMSS Congressional Asks will focus on the following relevant, actionable legislative policy recommendations:

Congressional Ask #1: Create an HHS Cyber Leader Role.
Congressional Ask #2: Pass the CONNECT for Health Act of 2017.
Congressional Ask #3: Invest in Infrastructure to Support 21st Century Healthcare.
