The Health Business Solutions area identifies and promotes the use of health IT for efficient, cost-effective execution of financial and administrative functions within healthcare. Current areas of specific focus include revenue cycle improvement; developing an effective and efficient infrastructure for alternative payment models; analyzing federal administrative, legislative and policy proposals to identify the technical functionality needed to support the administrative requirements of the proposal; and operationalizing ICD-10.
