The HIMSS Public Policy Affiliate Roundtable provides opportunities for networking, information sharing, and education on healthcare issues and policy related to health IT. For many HIMSS Affiliates, health IT is one of many areas of focus, but not the primary focus, and the Roundtable offers opportunities to learn how health IT may affect their stakeholders. HIMSS Affiliate members include associations, Health Information Exchanges, Regional Extension Centers and other not-for-profits. A listing of HIMSS Affiliates is available here.
The Roundtable is co-chaired by Morgan Reed of the Association for Competitive Technology, and Rebecca Snead of the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations.
For more information about a complimentary membership as a HIMSS Affiliate, please visit the Affiliate Member webpage, or contact membership@himss.org.
For more information about the Public Policy Affiliate Roundtable or to join, please contact HIMSS Staff Liaison Elinore Boeke at eboeke@himss.org or 703-562-8817.
