Guest speaker Dwight D. Deneal from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Small and Disadvantage Business Utilization (OSDBU) will lead an informative discussion on small businesses contracting with HHS and contracting opportunities available within HHS.
As a Small Business Specialist, Mr. Deneal advises the heads of contracting agencies/contracting and program officials on procurement strategies that seek to maximize small business participation for solicitations, contracts, subcontracting plans, and facilitation of small business outreach/counseling activities.
Additionally, he is a former Contract Specialist for the U.S. Department of Education and U.S. Department of Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division and has both the Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) Level III and Defense Acquisition Improvement Workforce Act (DAWIA) Level II in Contracting Certification.
