Geisinger's David Feinberg to keynote Pop Health Forum 2016
The May 19-20 Pop Health Forum 2016, has named Geisinger CEO David Feinberg its second day keynote.
Feinberg is in charge of one of the most innovative healthcare systems in the country - recently commended by President Obama while discussing the role of innovation in healthcare.
His talk "The Rise of Anticipatory Medicine" will trace the organization's efforts to harness population health and the ways in which healthcare will increasingly embrace data and analytics to predict the behavior of its patients for better health outcomes.
The Pop Health Forum 2016 will take place at the Westin Boston Waterfront and registration is now open.
C-CDA Direct Message: Are We There Yet?

Winter 2016 Health Story Project Roundtable.
As part of the HIMSS Health Story Project's goal to promote implementation of the Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) standard, the C-CDA implementation team from Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) joined the Roundtable.
BSWH's team described their journey to implement C-CDA and direct messaging to exchange clinical and administrative information for transitions of care.
10 steps to security maturity with Carnegie Mellon cybersecurity engineer
David Tobar is a senior
cybersecurity engineer focused on risk and resilience management for the CERT division, the cybersecurity arm of the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
With over 20 years of experience in the field, he will present at the May 11-12 Privacy & Security Forum in Los Angeles at
the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City.
His presentation, "Improve your Resilience: 10 Steps to Security Maturity" will give attendees action-based steps to improve their cybersecurity status.
