Call for Proposals Poster Presentations for HIMSS18 is Now Open! 
HIMSS invites you to submit a proposal to present a poster at the 2018 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 - Friday, March 9, 2018. If your poster is selected, it will be displayed in tandem with the HIMSS18 Career Fair on Wednesday, March 7 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Wynn Las Vegas. Poster presenters will be required to attend the Career Fair during a designated time to participate in a question and answer session regarding the poster being presented.  For HIMSS18 we are seeking proposals for two categories, Early Careerists and Students.  Please visit the website for more information.

How To ‘Earn A Client For Life’ Through Strong Client Relationships

In the latest two-part STEPS To Value series, “The Value of The Client In The C-Suite, PT 1.” HIMSS explores the impact that client-focused officers in the C-Suite are having on today’s healthcare industry.  In part one of the series, Scott Bostick, former chief client officer and current chief operating officer of NextGen Healthcare and  user experience subject matter expert, Adam Bazer, discuss how the company transformed their organization’s relationship with their clients to help them better navigate in a value-based care paradigm.  

Part two of the series, which is expected to be published in mid-October, will include the second half of Bostick and Bazer’s conversation.
