Secretary Shulkin updated veterans on the progress the agency is making while also acknowledging the shortcomings that the VA has identified and will address in the upcoming months.

CMS Initiates Social Security Number Removal by 2019 to Combat Identity Theft
Social Security Numbers (SSNs) must be removed from all Medicare cards by April 2019.

Telemedicine Update: Texas
Under Senate Bill 1107, physicians can treat patients via video consultation, provided they take previous medical records and test results into account.
