Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to provide support to the EHR Association and Corporate Relations team as directed by the Senior Director, Corporate Relations. Support activities include working with Corporate Members to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of benefits-related information and providing administrative support and back-up for the Senior Director, Corporate Relations including direct coordination of regular and ad-hoc conference calls, taking notes and action items and responding as necessary to requests for information and support.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Schedules and participates in all regular and ad-hoc EHRA conference calls at the request of the Senior Director, Corporate Relations and/or the EHR Association Program Manager;
    • provides back-up as necessary, including distribution of agendas and materials, taking roll, minutes, action items and/or website updates;
    • Responds to and fulfills requests from Corporate Members in a timely fashion;
    • ensures all new EHRA Members are listed on the website with the correct logo and active link in a timely basis;
    • sends customized/personalized welcome letters to all new EHRA Members;
    • sends “lost” email to all firms and their staff who do not renew HIMSS corporate memberships inviting them to join as individual members;
    • removes company information from website
  • Provides back up to Corporate Relations Sr. Associate;
    • ensures all Corporate Members have an accurate accounting on a regular basis of their complimentary individual members (aka CCregs);
    • activates and sends customized/personalized welcome letters to all new and customized renewal letters to all renewing Corporate Members, with specific level information and appropriate Corporate Relations Representative for both HIMSS and mHIMSS clients;
    • sends “lost” email to all ccregs for firms who do not renew HIMSS and mHIMSS corporate memberships inviting them to join as individual members;
    • ensures that new Corporate Members have dates assigned for Weekly Insider listings (twice per year);
    • provides support in the development of Corporate Member reports and benefits summaries, using Personify, Salesforce.com or other reporting tools as necessary;
    • schedules and participates in regular and ad-hoc Corporate Relations team conference calls at the request of the Senior Director, Corporate Relations to include distribution of agendas and materials, taking roll, minutes and/or action items;
    • posts Corporate Member Press Releases on the website - must review each Press Release to ensure they do not compete with HIMSS benefits, such as webinars and the company submitting is a current Corporate Member;
    • adds data to Salesforce for benefit recaps to the corporate members;
    • develops ccreg tool specifications and works with IT to create;
    • maintains Complimentary Corporate Individual membership management tool allowing Primary Contact for Corporate Members to update their ccreg list online 24/7/365;
    • handles trouble shooting in Personify, maintaining a clean database (such as removing dup chapters, etc).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in customer service, marketing or related field;
  • a minimum of two (2) years of progressive work assignments in a related job at the professional level;
  • ability to act independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • knowledge of marketing/sales principles, planning & project management;
  • analytical experience and working knowledge of budgeting/financial models;
  • good written and verbal communications skills;
  • excellent interpersonal skills;
  • ability to coordinate internal resources to meet Corporate Member needs and deliver benefits in a timely fashion;
  • IT experience desired;
  • very proficient in PC based applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint); understanding of databases and data integrity.
