Baptist Princeton Medical Center's hand-washing monitor system called model for nation
An electronic monitoring system Baptist Princeton Medical Center set up last year increased hand-washing by more than 850 percent and reduced hospital-acquired infections by 22 percent in the area it was used, according to a study Baptist has produced on the project.The project will be recognized today by a national health care information technology organization, which called it a nationwide model.
