Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in a joint collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Saudi Health Council and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties - the HIMSS & Health 2.0 Middle East Digital Health Conference & Exhibition will take place as a digital event from 29 November – 2 December 2020.

Accreditations & Certifications

HIMSS & Health 2.0 Middle East Digital Health Conference & Exhibition 2020 is an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional development portfolio by earning continuing education credits from various accreditation bodies. All delegates are eligible to claim credits for attending sessions, including senior executives, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, project managers, health information management professionals, patients, information security professionals and those seeking contact hours towards the renewal of CAHIMS or CPHIMS.

Continuing Education Credits Available

In order to get the CME’s credits (21 CME’s), you need to attend 70% of the live conference programme (not on Demand sessions). This equates to approximately 19 of the 27 main programme sessions. There is no partial credit for those attending less than 70% of the sessions. The deadline for sessions attendance is Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 11 p.m. (Riyadh time). Please note you can still watch the sessions after the live days (the site is open until December 31, 2020), but you will NOT get any CME’s credits after December 3, 2020 (11 p.m.). To watch the sessions you may have missed please go to the On Demand room and click on Day 1-4 to view the main programme recordings.

The 21 CME’s credits will be added automatically to your SCFHS record.

A certificate of attendance will be sent by email after the event to all of the conference attendees (this may take up to 10-14 days to receive).

The CPD Certification Service

Receive a certificate of attendance from CPD: HIMSS & Health 2.0 Middle East Digital Event has received In Principle Approval from The CPD Certification Service UK and will be submitted for Full Approval as a CPD-accredited event following the Conference. HIMSS has been approved as a member of the CPD Certification Service which provides recognized independent CPD Approval compatible with global Continuing Professional Development principles. You can claim CPD credits for sessions watched during the conference or viewed “on demand” post-conference until 31st December.
