Marion Ball, Senior Advisor and Professor Emerita, IBM Research
Dr. Marion J. Ball is a member of the Institute of Medicine (IOM), and served on the Board of Regents of the National Library of Medicine (NLM). She currently serves on the Health On the Net (HON ) Board. She also served on a variety of boards in the area of health information technology, including serving as President of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA), and has served as a board member of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and Co-Chaired the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Board.
Ursula Hübner, Professor, Medical and Health Informatics and Quantitative Methods, University AS Osnabrück, Germany
Dr. Ursula Hübner, PhD Professor, Medical and Health Informatics and Quantitative Methods, Head of the Health Informatics Research Group and Centre for Multimedia and IT-Applications, University AS Osnabrück, Germany. She is the chair of the TIGER (Technology Guiding Education Reform) International Committee. She also serves as Board Member of the German Society of Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS). Dr. Hübner is the president of the GMDS National Annual Conference 2018 to be held in Osnabrück Germany.
Toria Shaw, Manager, Clinical Informatics, HIMSS
Toria (Tori) Shaw, MSW has served as the Manager of Clinical Informatics and TIGER Staff Liaison for HIMSS North America since 2014. She manages all programs, activities, resources, volunteer efforts, and research for the advancement of interprofessional health IT, informatics and workforce development endeavors aligned with the TIGER (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform) Initiative and TIGER’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). She also manages and executes the EU*US eHealth Work Project, funded by Horizon 2020, scope of work and project deliverables for TIGER. Ms. Shaw has over 10 years of experience working in countries throughout Africa, the Caribbean, and Europe focused on global health and international development initiatives.
