TIGER Virtual Learning Environment

Sutter Health is a not-for-profit unified health care network providing comprehensive medical care in more than 100 Northern California cities and towns. Sutter has 53,000 employees and 12,000 physicians in their network, making them the 8th largest health system in the U.S. The informatics journey began when Sutter partnered with Epic, taking the first of 24 hospitals "live" in 2008 and continued through 2016. Today, Sutter Health continues to build a nursing informatics team to improve safety, increase efficiency, and add value for patients and clinicians.  Case studies focused on nursing informatics were completed from two different perspectives to aid the EU*US eHealth Work Project findings. Join us to learn about Sutter Health’s journey into the trials and successes of Informatics implementation and their case study development. Presented by Jessica Liston MS, RN, CNOR, OR Manager, TIGER Initiative Intern, Donna Woelfel, RN-BC, MSN, CPHIMS, Vice President, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer, and Bettianne Wiessler, MPA, RN, Nurse Informaticist Leader, Sutter Health.
