Open to healthcare workers, students, individuals aiming at upgrading their knowledge in digital health, HIMSS offers a Digital Health Literacy Certificate at HIMSS25 Europe.
This certificate helps understand the fundamentals of the complexity of digital health and its impact on healthcare delivery, gaining basic skills to navigate and utilize digital health technologies and search for additional resources to expand their knowledge.
Achieving this certificate acknowledges the successful acquisition of key competencies in digital health:

Recognize common barriers to digital health adoption

Describe potential benefits of digital health for individuals and healthcare systems

Understand basics of data complexity: Know how algorithms are built and what challenges they are faced with from the accuracy and ethical perspective

Understand the importance of cybersecurity: What are the threats? How to be cyber safe on an individual level?

Understand trends in AI healthcare: Know practical use cases in European hospitals. Be aware of open questions in the use of AI in healthcare.

Attend designated sessions
Attend 6 or more of the 13 designated digital health sessions at HIMSS25 Europe.
