Mr. Mike Benol
Director of Government Relations, HIMSS
Mr. Mike Benol currently serves as the HIMSS Director of Government Relations. Mr. Benol is focused on Military Health, Indian Health, White House Science Office, and Ministerial Government Relations.
Mr. Benol has enjoyed a four-decade career of global technology innovation centered on solutions that enhance speed to care, digital and clinical collaboration within the patient ecosystem utilizing advanced technologies for predictive outcomes and data continuity.
Mr. Benol's tenure and thought leadership in healthcare led Mike to establish multiple entrepreneurial businesses, advisory services and serve in leaderships roles with leading Healthcare organizations focused on 360 head to toe health in areas of NLP, AI, ML and MedTech solutions across all specialties and departments.
He has an unabating passion and belief that all humans should have access to quality healthcare and digital health equity. Mr. Benol holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a Minor in Sociology from Kutztown University. He has been married for 29 years and is a super proud parent of two daughters and their rescue Goldendoodle.
Ms. Ioana Danciu
Senior Scientist and Group Leader, Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Ms. Ioana Danciu is a Senior Research Scientist and the Group Leader of the Human Analysis and Biometrics Group (https://www.ornl.gov/group/hab) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Her research focuses on developing and scaling multimodal AI methods that integrate imaging, structured and unstructured data, omics, and sensor inputs for applications in biomedicine and national security. Mr. Ian Goethert
Team Lead (IT Group Lead), Data: Engineering/Management/Architecture, Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Mr. Ian Goethert is the team lead for Data Engineering and Management in the Emerging Technologies and AI Group the for Oak Ridge National Lab IT Services division. He has over 30 years of experience with various aspects of Healthcare IT, software/database/interface development, information technology, and health data engineering and management. In his spare time, Mr. Goethert works with the Oak Ridge City Schools to promote STEM and STEAM for the next generation of engineers and scientists.
Mr. Ryan Halos
Global Chief Technology Officer, Medical Imaging, Dell Technologies
Mr. Ryan Halos is a Healthcare IT specialist who has worked at Dell Technologies for approximately 4 years and has over 23 years of experience in medical imaging. He is a dynamic executive leader with broad experience delivering IT initiatives and global sales growth strategies in multiple healthcare industries. He has proven skills in successfully managing, developing, and implementing large and complex global HC IT projects and is a confident public speaker, capable of effectively generating and delivering presentations on complex subjects.
Mr. Halos has worked at both small and large companies and held positions from developer to various C-level positions. He has led companywide initiatives that include enterprise imaging, 3rd party integrations, universal worklisting, Hyperconverged hardware deployments, complete virtual environment consolidations, and full Enterprise Imaging deployments. Currently, Mr. Halos leads the global strategies and relationships with all Medical Imaging Vendors within the Dell Health and Life Sciences division.
Mr. Halos owned multiple imaging centers within the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina and is very active in the clinical care of his community. He has landed coverage in print and broadcast outlets, including Auntminnie.com, Radiology Today, Healthcare Informatics, and several medical research journals.
Mr. Halos is also a veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country in many campaigns throughout the world.
