Global Consortium for eHealth Interoperability: COVID-19 Listening Session Series (2 of 3)

HIT Professionals and Market Suppliers – Accelerating Interoperability by Leveraging Existing Resources

Global change demands global action.  For that reason, HIMSS, HL7 International, and IHE International formed the Global Consortium for eHealth Interoperability.  The Consortium works to turn policy-based interoperability roadmaps into reality by aligning technology and policy resources to improve outcomes.  The Consortium convenes global stakeholders to share lessons learned, best practices, adoption metrics, and expert guidance to rapidly drive adoption of standards-based health IT interoperability locally, regionally, and around the globe.  Towards that effort, the Consortium is reaching out to experts from healthcare and health IT product/service solutions providers across the country and globe on the front line of the battle against COVID-19 to better understand their experiences.  We want to listen to what data exchange needs/pain points you have discovered on your own or in partnership with your clinical clients in this first wave of COVID-19-related patient care.

The Consortium is convening listening sessions with key clinical, technology, and policy thought leaders from across the healthcare ecosystem to help healthcare stakeholders around the world leverage critical existing resources and respond to this global emergency.
