Profiling Health IT Adoption and Maturity in LTPAC Settings / Technologies Supporting Care Coordination among Healthcare Settings

The HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM) is used by hospital IT leaders throughout the world as a means of guiding and assessing a hospital’s progression towards an advanced electronic medical record environment. Yet no such universally accepted maturation model exists for long-term/post-acute care (LTPAC) providers. In this LTPAC Roundtable meeting, researchers from the University of Missouri discuss various issues to be considered in the development of national EHR maturation model for nursing home providers and advances in post-acute health information technologies.
