In this presentation, HIMSS Davies Enterprise Award winner Mercy will explore its journey through the development of Clinical Pathways and the use of standardized automated tools, process metrics and adherence monitoring to accelerate performance in quality, cost and patient experience. This work has resulted in a system that provides clinical decision support and improves the rate of delivery of care, patient mortality and direct variable cost all the while monitoring for variances and waste in practice.
