TIGER (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform) is a grassroots initiative focused on education reform and interprofessional community development. The spirit of TIGER is to maximize the integration of technology and informatics into seamless practice, education and research resource development.

Rachelle Blake, PA, MHA, CEO/President, Omni Micro Systems/Omni Med Solutions, GmbH

Rachelle Blake is a global strategic healthcare information technology leader and international eHealth subject matter expert. She is Founder, CEO and Managing Director of Omni Micro Systems and Omni Med Solutions, a multinational health information consulting and technology development corporation. Ms. Blake has served in clinical, consulting, operations and administrative roles in healthcare information technology for 30 years, including working as a Physician Assistant. She continues to serve as an adjunct professor of healthcare information technology at Renton Technical College in Renton, Washington.

Toria (Tori) Shaw, MSW, Manager, Clinical Informatics, HIMSS North America

Toria (Tori) Shaw has served as the Manager of Clinical Informatics and TIGER Staff Liaison for HIMSS North America since 2014. She manages all programs, activities, resources, volunteer efforts, and research for the advancement of interprofessional informatics competencies aligned with the TIGER (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform) Initiative and TIGER’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Ms. Shaw has over 10 years of experience working in countries throughout Africa, the Caribbean, and Europe focused on global health and international development initiatives. In 2009, she co-created Global Implementation Solutions (GIS), a non-profit organization focused on strengthening healthcare systems worldwide.
