AI-powered symptom checkers can guide patients to the correct care and improve communication between patients and healthcare professionals. These tools can identify possible causes for symptoms and provide information on next steps, including the need for medical support. This poster will discuss how a real-world performance monitoring approach was developed to evaluate the safety and performance of an AI-based tool integrated into two partner healthcare systems in Portugal and the Netherlands and its impact on the efficiency of care settings.
