Building a Scalable AI Strategy for the Healthcare Enterprise
AI is now a board-level priority in healthcare, with 98% of healthcare executives in a 2021 Optum survey saying they “have or are planning to implement an AI strategy.” Many analytics and data science leaders have embraced the idea that because “healthcare is local,” healthcare AI should also be local—i.e., customized to an organization’s unique population, data, and business goals.
The default approach has been to build an in-house AI/machine learning stack from the ground up using industry-agnostic tools.
