Cybersecurity Forum: Forum Keynote:Hacking Healthcare – How the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is Here to Help

Monday, April 17 at 8:35 AM - 9:15 AM CT
South Building, Level 1 | S102

The convergence of cybersecurity with healthcare information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) is a key driver in innovation and efficiency within the healthcare industry; however, with great efficiency, comes great risk. Nation state actors see this growing innovative healthcare landscape as a prime opportunity to conduct ransomware attacks, steal personally identifiable information, and more, regardless of whether or not individuals think that these bad actors are not interested in them. Join Deputy Director Nitin Natarajan of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency as he outlines the current healthcare threat landscape, identifies existing vulnerabilities, and calls for increased collaboration between the healthcare community and the federal government to anticipate, identify, and mitigate cyber threats.

Attendees will:

  • Understand the cyber threats that specifically target the healthcare sector
  • Analyze how these threats impact your organization
  • Identify free CISA resources to combat threats to healthcare cyber ecosystem

This session is part of the Healthcare Cybersecurity Forum agenda and requires separate registration.
