Digital Health Transformation Along With HIMSS DHI: The First Step

In 2019, Samsung Medical Center in Korea set the slogan “Care Together, happy Together” to take a new leap forward to mark the 25th anniversary of its opening. Under this slogan, the realization of a cutting-edge intelligent hospital has become an important strategy. In order to realize a cutting-edge intelligent hospital, it was necessary to apply the technology of the 4th industrial revolution based on the patient's experience and the patient's journey. It is in line with the 4 Keywords of HIMSS DHI (Digital Health Indicator); Governance & Workforce, Interoperability, Person-Enabled Health, Predictive Analytics. Due to time limitation, This session will present three cases: Mobile Apps implemented by Samsung Medical Center, PAN, an Analytics Dashboard, and Robots that supported Logistics. These case studies that can sufficiently explain why Samsung Medical Center located in Korea obtained the highest HIMSS DHI Score in the world. And lastly, this session will share the future direction of Samsung Medical Center.
