Empirical Evidence of Digital Maturity and Patient Safety Outcomes in US Hospitals

A  joint presentation with Leapfrog group and HIMSS will examine recent research that investigates the influence of advances in digital maturity on hospital performance with specific focus on quality and safety outcomes.  The presentation will examine the key quality and safety outcomes which are advanced when hospitals achieve Levels 6 and 7 maturity on HIMSS EMRAM model.  Implications for the role of digital maturity in advancing health system performance will be discussed.
