Interoperability and HIE Forum: Closing Keynote: Accelerating the Future: Optimizing Public / Private Collaboration to Scale What Works

Monday, April 17 at 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM CT
South Building, Level 1 | S103

Our closing keynote will focus on the role of public/private collaboration in scaling application access to FHIR-based APIs, expanding the breadth of available data, and driving the demand signal for clinical workflows that deliver more coordinated care. As we enter the first year post-Cures Act certification requirements, we will discuss the role of FHIR-based networks, CMS Innovation Center models and a growing marketplace of tech-enabled solutions that can deliver on the promise of (standards-based) data sharing. As the market continues to evolve, our speaker will issue a call to action for “early adopters” to collaborate with the public sector in driving the pace of industry standardization and discuss the implications of these market-driven consortia for businesses, consumers, and society as a whole.

This session is part of the Interoperability and HIE Forum agenda and requires separate registration.
