The Machine Algorithm for Reporting Surveillance (MARS) is an interactive tool which automates the analysis of incident tickets using natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and clinician validation. MARS enables informatics patient safety staff to quickly address issues with the potential for patient harm from a large volume of routine tickets.
