An ONC-OSTP Listening Session / Roundtable Discussion on Clinical Trials Readiness
Wednesday, April 19 at 11:45 AM - 12:25 PM CT
West Building, Level 4 | W476
Following the View from the Top Session on Wednesday morning, please join the speakers for an OSTP/ONC listening session and roundtable discussion about how to support a more efficient exchange of data between different health IT systems and settings, including the deployment of better tools for managing patient recruitment and consent, as part of our approach towards ensuring clinical trials readiness. This includes the exploration of how we might build on the U.S. Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) and USCDI+ extensions, so that electronic health records (EHRs) can more effectively support clinical trials – of all kinds, and not just in emergencies.
