Dr. Davis is a physician information at Sutter Health since 2012. Elected twice to the Epic’s CareEverywhere Governing Council which oversees Epic’s immense interoperability community • Board of Directors of the Santa Cruz Health Information Exchange Organization • Chairs the Sutter Provider Data Governance Committee overseeing the integration and quality of provider data across the Sutter enterprise • Leading information exchange optimization efforts between Sutter and external health organizations • Co-founded and co-chair California Epic CMIO group dedicated to share best practices and experiences with Epic EHR • Developed successful bid to contract with California Emergency Medical Service Authority (EMSA) to pilot Patient Unified Lookup System for Emergencies (PULSE) platform • Served as chair of the Reports, Quality and Meaningful Use Committee (RQMUC) which was responsible for setting reporting strategy for Sutter Health’s West Bay Region and ensuring successful participation in the federal Meaningful Use program (5/5 hospitals and 98.5% of our eligible providers met MU objectives in 2015) • Recruited and led a group of 25 physician super users who provide EHR support to their colleagues and subject matter expertise to the EHR optimization project • Participated as core member of small informatics team that oversaw EHR implementation engagement effort for over 2500 physicians in 6 inpatient facilities across Sutter Health’s West Bay Region, at approximately 10% under budget • Led the successful provider engagement effort for Sutter Health’s West Bay Region ICD-10 transition
