Adam Szerencsy - Short Bio Pronunciation: su-ren-see Dr. Adam Szerencsy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and serves as the Medical Director for Ambulatory Clinical Informatics at NYU Langone Health. Over the last 12 years he has led the implementation and optimization of Epic and its ancillary applications across NYU Langone’s expanding ambulatory network. Dr. Szerencsy has helped support many of the organization’s strategic initiatives including improving the patient and clinician digital experiences, the Epic Elevate Provider Optimization Program along with various departmental and enterprise wide ambulatory quality programs. Under his leadership the organization was the recipient of the HIMSS Davies Award and has achieved HIMSS Stage 7 status initially in 2017 and again in 2021. Dr. Szerencsy received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and attended Medical School at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and maintains dual certifications in both Family Medicine and Clinical Informatics. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and maintains his part-time clinical practice at NYU Langone Ambulatory Care Lake Success.
