Alexander Petrov joined the AI/ML solutions team in Digital, Informatics and Technology Solutions as Principal Data Scientist/Technical Director to lead the delivery of production ready AI/ML solutions at MSKCC in 2021. Prior to that, Alexander worked at IBM, where he won multiple Outstanding Technical Achievement awards and filed over 5 patents. Over the years, he has delivered Analytics products that contain the implementation of machine learning (clustering, classification, rules application using Rete engine, etc), NLP, data visualization, and distributed machine learning algorithms implementation. Alexander has more than 25 years of industry experience working as a data scientist, software architect, manager, and consultant on creating software products and developing new technologies.
