Amber Reints is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Avera McKennan Behavioral Health. Amber graduated with biology and psychology majors from the Minnesota State University, Mankato and then earned her nursing degree at Creighton University. She completed her doctorate degree at the University of Missouri. Currently in her daily clinical work, Amber feels blessed to have the opportunity to walk alongside patients and families struggling with mental illness. Amber’s role at Avera also allows her to be involved in various quality improvement committees and she is passionate about using data to monitor outcomes and drive interventions, to positively impact the mental health community.
